Unless you read and accept all the terms of this agreement, please do not download, install, or use QuarkIP products and related services. Your actions, such as clicking to agree, downloading, installing, using, or logging in, are considered your acknowledgment and consent to the terms of this agreement. This privacy policy is an integral part of the QuarkIP service agreement you have signed with us, whether in electronic or non-electronic form.

1、Scope of application

This policy applies to all products and services provided by QuarkIP service providers through websites, software clients, and new forms that emerge with the development of technology.
Except for the information collection and use activities described in this Policy, this policy does not apply to QuarkIP partners and others. Third, for other services provided by you, the personal information collection and use rules separately explained to you shall apply to other services.

2、Information collection and use

When you use our products/services, we need/ may need to collect and use your personal information in the following two ways：

• In order to provide you with the basic functions of our products and/or services, you must authorize us to collect and use necessary information. If you refuse to provide the corresponding information, you will not be able to normally use our products and/or services;
• In order to provide you with additional functions of our products and/or services, you may choose to agree or disagree with the information we collect and use. If you refuse to provide, you will not be able to normally use the relevant additional functions or achieve the desired function effect, which will not affect your use of our basic functions.

We would like to remind you that we are dedicated to creating a wide range of products and services to meet your needs. Given the variety of product modules and service types we offer, and the different specific product or service ranges chosen by various users, the basic and additional features, as well as the types and scope of personal information collected, may vary. Please refer to the specific product modules and service functions for details.

The specific functional scenarios we will provide for you include but are not limited to：

• QuarkIP offers free and paid services

  We provide services based on the account you created for QuarkIP and the package you ordered from QuarkIP. To create a QuarkIP account, you need to provide us with at least your mobile phone number or email address. If you refuse to provide this information, you will not be able to register a QuarkIP account.

  When you use QuarkIP products and services, QuarkIP will automatically receive and record information on your browser and computer, including but not limited to your IP address, browser type, language used, access date and time, hardware and software feature information, web pages visited by you, your service log and operation log.

  To ensure we are serving you personally, we may verify your identity based on the information you provide. If there is a legal need to determine your identity (such as protecting minors' rights, combating telecom and internet fraud, withholding taxes for you, or identifying relevant parties in administrative law enforcement or judicial proceedings), you can authorize us to use the facial recognition verification channel to confirm your identity. The verification information will be used for these purposes.

• Accessorial service

  You can choose to further improve the account information of this product. You can provide your nickname, mobile phone number and other information to us to obtain additional services that are more in line with your needs. You can also choose not to provide it, but you will not be able to obtain relevant services, but it will not affect the normal use of other functions and services.

  QuarkIP will launch operational activities for new services and features from time to time. If you participate in the relevant operational activities, we will collect your identity information, contact information, etc., through the operational activities interface so that we can contact you. If you do not participate in the relevant operational activities, you are not required to provide the above information.

• Help you complete the payment

  To complete the payment for your order, you may need to provide a bank card, an Alipay account, or choose another payment method. For example, if you choose Alipay as your payment method, we will share your QuarkIP account, the corresponding Alipay account name, order payment details, security-related device information, and other necessary information required by anti-money laundering laws with Alipay through the embedded Alipay SDK in our application.

  If you choose other financial institutions to provide you with payment services, we will also share your necessary bank card payment information, including bank card number and expiration date, with the corresponding financial institutions you choose.

  In order to keep us informed of and confirm your payment progress and status in a timely manner, and provide you with after-sales and dispute resolution services, you agree that we may collect information related to payment progress from the transaction object you choose, Alipay Company or other financial institutions you choose.

• Customer service and dispute resolution

  When you contact us or apply for in-sale, after-sales or dispute settlement, in order to protect the security of your account and system, we need you to provide necessary personal information to verify your identity.

  To facilitate communication with you, assist you in resolving issues promptly, or document the handling of related issues and their outcomes, we may retain your communications, call records, and other relevant information (including account details, addresses, email addresses, additional information you provide to substantiate facts, or contact information you have provided). If you consult, complain, or offer suggestions regarding a specific order, we will use your account and order information.

  In order to provide services and improve the reasonable need for service quality, we may also use other information about you, including the relevant information you provide when you contact customer service, and the questionnaire response information you send us when you participate in the questionnaire survey.

3、Provide information to the public

• Communion

  We will not share your personal information with any company, organization or individual other than QuarkIP service providers, except in the following circumstances:

  • Sharing necessary for the performance of legal obligations: We may share your personal information in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations, litigation, dispute resolution requirements, or other requirements legally put forward by administrative and judicial authorities, as well as the performance of legal obligations.
  • Sharing with your consent: We will share your personal information with other parties with your express consent.
  • Sharing of information necessary for the conclusion and performance of a contract to which you are a party: When you purchase goods or services through QuarkIP, we will share with the relevant providers of goods or services the necessary information related to the transaction in your order information according to your choice, so as to realize your transaction, delivery and after-sales service needs.
  • Sharing with Associated Companies: To facilitate the provision of certain services to you in collaboration with our associated companies, we provide products and services through QuarkIP platform accounts. We also recommend information that may interest you, identify any anomalies in member accounts, and protect the personal and property safety of QuarkIP's associated companies or other users and the public from harm. Your personal information may be shared with our associated companies and/or their designated service providers. We will only share necessary personal information, as stated in this policy. If we need to share your sensitive personal information or if our associated companies change the purpose of using and processing personal information, we will seek your authorization and consent again.

  Please note that the information you voluntarily share or even publicly share when using our services may involve your personal information or even sensitive personal information. Please consider and make a decision more carefully.

• Entrusted processing

  We may entrust authorized partners to handle your personal information, allowing them to provide certain services or perform specific functions on our behalf. We will only entrust them with processing your information for the legal, proper, necessary, specific, and clear purposes outlined in this policy. Authorized partners will have access to only the information necessary for their duties, and we will require them through agreements not to use this information for any purposes beyond the scope of the mandate. If an authorized partner uses your information for purposes not entrusted to us, they will obtain your separate consent.

  At present, our authorized partners include the following types：

  • Authorized partners for advertising and analytics services. We will entrust these partners with processing information related to advertising placement, coverage and effectiveness on the premise of using industry-standard security technologies. • Assignment

  If we need to transfer your personal information due to merger, division, dissolution or bankruptcy, we will inform you of the name or name and contact information of the recipient. The recipient will continue to fulfill this policy and other legal obligations. If the recipient changes the original processing purpose or processing method, it will obtain your consent again.

四、Your rights

You can view and manage your information in the following ways, and we will respond to your request in accordance with legal requirements：

• Review, correct and supplement

  You have the right to view, correct and supplement your information through instant chat requests in the lower right corner of the page.

• Amputate

  You may delete part of your information through the path listed in "(1) Review, correct and supplement your Information", or apply to cancel your account to delete all your information.

  In the following circumstances, you can request us to delete your personal information by contacting [Customer Service]：

  • If we handle personal information in violation of laws and regulations；
  • If we collect and use your personal information without your express consent；
  • If we process your personal information in a manner that seriously violates our agreement with you；
  • If our processing purpose has been achieved, cannot be achieved, or is no longer necessary to achieve the processing purpose；
  • If we stop providing the product or service, or if the shelf life has expired.

  If we decide to respond to your deletion request, we will also notify as many subjects as possible who have obtained your personal information from us and ask them to delete it in a timely manner (unless otherwise required by laws and regulations, or such subjects have independently obtained your authorization).

  When you or we assist you to delete the relevant information, because of applicable legal and security technical restrictions, we may not be able to immediately delete the corresponding information from the backup system. We will securely store your personal information and limit any further processing of it until the backup can be cleared or anonymized.

• Change the scope of authorization

  You can change or withdraw the scope of your authorization to us to collect and process your personal information as follows: You can authorize the binding relationship through "My Account and Security".

  For authorizations you cannot directly set through the aforementioned methods, you can modify them by contacting customer service. However, please note that for certain types of personal information, such as the essential data required to implement QuarkIP's basic functions or the necessary information for fulfilling our legal obligations, we may not be able to respond to your request to change the scope of authorization. Once you withdraw your authorization, we will no longer process the corresponding personal information. However, your decision to withdraw authorization will not affect any personal information processing activities we have already conducted based on your previous authorization.

• Unsubscribe

  If you are certain that you will no longer use our products or services and wish to cancel your account, you can request account cancellation through our official website customer service or via the support@quarkip.com system. After receiving your cancellation request, we will cease providing you with our products or services and, in accordance with applicable laws, delete or anonymize your personal information.

• Limit the automatic decision of information system

  In some business functions, we may make decisions based solely on non-manual automatic decision-making mechanisms such as algorithms. If these decisions affect your legitimate rights and interests, you can contact us through customer service.

• Respond to your request above

  If you or your legal guardian, close relatives, or other authorized parties make the above requests to us, or if you have any related personal information rights as stipulated by the laws of the People's Republic of China and other applicable laws, you can contact us through customer service or directly file a complaint with our dedicated Personal Information Protection Department. We will respond within 15 days.

In order to ensure the security of your account and personal information, we may verify your identity (such as adding account verification, requiring you to provide written request or other reasonable methods) before processing your request.

For your reasonable requests, we generally do not charge fees. However, for repeated requests that exceed a reasonable limit, we may charge a fee at our discretion. We may also refuse requests that are not directly related to your identity, repeatedly requested without a reasonable reason, or require excessive technical effort (such as developing a new system or fundamentally changing current practices), pose risks to the legitimate rights and interests of others, or are unrealistic.

5、Storage of information

We will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this policy, unless there is a mandatory legal retention requirement.

The storage period of personal information is determined based on the following criteria:

• Complete the transaction purpose related to you, maintain the corresponding transaction and business records, in order to deal with your possible inquiries or complaints;
• To ensure the safety and quality of our services to you;
• Whether you agree to a longer retention period;
• Whether there are any other special provisions or legal regulations regarding the retention period.

After the retention period, we will delete or anonymize your personal information as required by applicable laws.

In order to bring you a better product and service experience, we continue to work hard to improve our products, services and technologies. QuarkIP's services are primarily aimed at adults. If you are a minor under the applicable law, please read the privacy policies of the developer or advertiser and this privacy policy carefully with your parents or other guardians before using QuarkIP products and services. Use the application or provide personal information only with the guardian's consent.

We protect the personal information of minors in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Unless otherwise required by law, we will only collect, use, store, share, transfer, or publicly disclose the personal information of minors when permitted by law, with explicit consent from parents or other guardians, or when necessary for the protection of minors.
